The Department of Structural Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is located in the recently opened Biomedical Science Tower 3. The BST3 officially opened in October of 2005 and we were some of the building's first tennants. Our department was formed in the Spring of 2005. We currently have nine faculty members with a tenth starting soon and an active search for and eleventh.
