Welcome to the website of the Department of Structural Biology at the University of Pittsburgh.

The Department of Structural Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine is located in Biomedical Science Tower 3, which opened in October of 2005. Our department was formed in the Spring of 2005. We currently have twelve faculty members working in the fields of Cryo EM, NMR, X-Ray Crystallography, and Biochemistry.
