Congratulations to Ümit Akbey on being elected to the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) User Committee for the 2027–2029 term. The NHMFL is an NSF-supported national user facility and is the world's largest and highest-powered magnet laboratory, supporting more than 1,000 visiting scientists each year. Its state-of-the-art facilities enable groundbreaking research into materials science, energy, health, environmental science, and astronomy.
